The Friends of Mexico and the Mexican Consulate proudly announce the launch of Gourmex, a gala event hosted at the Bently Reserve, San Francisco, on October 25th, 2010 from 6:00pm – 8:30pm.
Gourmex will showcase the some of the best culinary talent in San Francisco, the Bay Area and Mexico while highlighting upscale and boutique food and beverage product exported from Mexico to the United States.
Join us for an evening of mixing and mingling with top local Executive Chefs who specialize in upscale Mexican cuisine and product.
Enjoy an evening of sampling some of the delicious offerings prepared by some of the most well-regarded local Mexican Restaurants.
Meet and greet top chefs from Mexico and witness the incredible passion and talent as they cook along side local chefs to prepare one-of-a-kind samplings for you to enjoy.
Gourmex will also highlight upscale and boutique culinary product exported from Mexico. Our top chefs will be preparing samplings using the highest quality chiles, spices and chocolate.
For beverages, stop by the Don Julio table for a sampling of tequila. Local Mexican owned wineries will also be center stage.
